The Return Of The Terror Audio Drama Info

EDIT: I plan on rewriting this to be shorter as a separate entry. So if you're confused, that'll help. I wrote a lot here and I plan to shorten it for those of us that don't need to read half of this. Also, lol, I titled it wrong. It's "The Terror Of Nightmare Night", I titled it as the sequel to the fanfic I wrote. I would change the title but it'd mess up links ;-; so sorry! Keep your eyes peeled for a cleaner version of this entry. 

Similar to the fanfiction I wrote by the same name, this story is the tale of a Changeling that wanted to change. This is pre season 7 (same as when I wrote it; season 5), so it'll take place during season 6 to be fair and to include Starlight. Instead of using ten OCs like the fanfic it'll feature the mane six. I'm going to be holding auditions for each of the characters. Please note that the fanfic is very different from how I plan this audio drama, so please don't go read it if you want background on this production. It's the same plot, but everything else is different. Plus... it'd spoil everything ;-; If you want to play more than one pony you can. Don't think that just because you're my friend that I'll let you voice act: I am holding auditions and I don't mean to hurt your feelings if I don't give you the role. This is unbiased and based on the auditions you all give me. 

PLEASE READ:

1) The fanfiction is not required to read to understand the roles you will be playing. I am writing my script based off the story, but not word for word or even event for event. I just inspired myself from my own story... if that makes sense. You just have to know the character you're auditioning for.

2) There might be singing. I don't know. There was singing in the story, but like I said, I am just taking the same idea, not the same exact events. If you can't sing it's okay; if there will be a song I'll take auditions for that. So don't stress I know that I can't sing lol 

3) You will need to be familiar with recording and be able to format your files to .WAV files. Audacity (the program I use) is super picky for some reason ;-; I would prefer to have everything done in one reel instead of chopped up into lots of different segments. You can space out your lines, but please keep them all in one recording file. I don't want to be searching my computer for all of your different recordings; if you really want to record them separately, do so, but then make sure to put them all into one thing before sending them to me. I ask of this not to be picky but to make everything easier on me. It'll get the episodes out faster, I can edit quicker, and I will have better organization.  

4) You will have to be available. If you can't record often... then please don't sign up. 

5) Please be the same gender as the character you audition for. ;-; I don't want a dude to play Twilight Sparkle. I know it's 2017 but PLEASE actually sound like the character you're hoping to play. 

6) There will be understudies. So if you don't get the part (or the one you wanted, if you signed up for multiple), don't be discouraged. You could potentially be an understudy. 

7) There will be side characters. I might come back to some of the people that didn't get a part later on to maybe play them. 

8) This is free and you'd be volunteering. Sorry, I can't pay anyone ;-; 

OKAY! Guidelines be outta the way Please read them thoroughly, I understand it's a lot and I know most of you just skimmed ;;3;; Sorry, I just... I don't wanna repeat myself. 

Better? Okie! Now... let's see which characters can be auditioned for! I will be playing the OC I created for this story, so don't worry about her since she's not canon. Every other character is canon.

- Starlight Glimmer (Major role, but not as major as the rest of the mane 6.)

- Pinkie Pie 

- Rarity 

- Apple Jack 

- Rainbow Dash 

- Fluttershy 

- Spike 

- Flash Sentry (once again, still a pretty big role, but is not planned to be in every episode)

How to audition: 

Note me telling me:

- Which character(s) you are auditioning for 

- If you have any experience with audio dramas or if this is your first time (if you do, link me to the previous one) 

- Give me your email so I can send you your lines and give you more detailed advice there 

After listening to your auditions I will compare them to other people's auditions for the same character. NOT EVERYONE WILL GET WHO THEY WANT AND IT IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. I do this to be FAIR and UNBIASED. I also plan to submit this to Equestria Daily because I want this to eventually become a big thing like Princess Trixie Sparkle or Bride of Discord. Hopefully. ;3; So if I don't nominate you as the best VA, don't feel discouraged. I've been rejected many times by other people and that's what has caused me to want to start my own audio production.  

I ALSO NEED ARTISTS!!! I cannot make all the art alone. I could use vectors, but that just seems like a waste of time when I can be helping showcase all of your talents ^D^ You would audition your art the same way someone would be auditioning voice acting. Just note me a link to a drawing that would showcase your style. YOU MUST NOT USE BASES. People that make them have different rules and I don't want to get caught up in any kind of trouble. Art must be original! Art MUST be SFW and I have the right to not include your art in my audio drama if I feel it is suggestive or inappropriate. Same thing applies here as before; don't feel discouraged if I reject your submission. I plan to get a lot and choices will have to be made.
